Abstract
Ovaj rad analizira oporezivanje trgovačkih društava porezom na dobit, s posebnim naglaskom na problem dvostrukog oporezivanja i metode njegova izbjegavanja. Istražuju se teorijska pozadina, međunarodni sporazumi i praktične strategije vezane uz ovu temu. Rad uspoređuje porezne prakse Republike Hrvatske s drugim zemljama Europske unije, ističući sličnosti i razlike. Analiziraju se različite metode izbjegavanja dvostrukog oporezivanja, uključujući bilateralne ugovore i specifične mehanizme poput sustava imputacije i APA sporazuma. Zaključci ukazuju na potrebu za kontinuiranim prilagođavanjem poreznih politika u kontekstu globalizacije i digitalne ekonomije te na važnost balansa između harmonizacije s europskim standardima i očuvanja fleksibilnosti za rješavanje specifičnih ekonomskih izazova.
Abstract (english)
This thesis analyzes the taxation of companies with corporate income tax, with a special focus on the issue of double taxation and methods for its avoidance. It explores the theoretical background, international agreements, and practical strategies related to this topic. The paper compares the tax practices of the Republic of Croatia with other European Union countries, highlighting similarities and differences. Various methods of avoiding double taxation are analyzed, including bilateral agreements and specific mechanisms such as the imputation system and APA agreements. The conclusions indicate the need for continuous adaptation of tax policies in the context of globalization and the digital economy, and the importance of balancing harmonization with EU standards and maintaining flexibility to address specific economic challenges.
